This is my new favorite brewing method. It's fast and easy and makes just the right amount of coffee. This is a one-cup pourover that sits right on top of a cup. There are paper filters made specifically for this brewer, or you can use generic #4 cone filters from the store. I use 19 grams of coffee, ground for drip, and I pour around 260 grams of water over the grounds.

Chemex 6 cup pourover is a beautiful pourover unit. In fact, there is one in our Philbrook Museum right now. This is definitely a community-oriented brewing device. Brew coffee while your friends watch and talk and then enjoy the finished product. I generally use 58 grams of coffee ground for standard drip, or a little coarser, and pour 700 grams of water over the grounds. Nice clean cup with great acidity.
