Description:
This Kenyan came from a broker called Cafe Imports. From what I understand, they bought it directly from the farm instead of going through the public auction. It's a really good Kenyan. This is from the Chania Estate and is 100% French Mission Varietal- a type of coffee tree brought from the island of Bourbon to Kenya by French missionaries. The aroma is very sweet and has some currant and malty notes. It has a fairly heavy body with a present, but not overpowering acidity. On the palate it delivers some clean mushroom (earth tones) with a citrus finish. It's good, for sure.
